228: Swag

This is the Syracuse Vineyard gang that happily adopted Liam (red head with orange striped shirt). All week Liam signed the white t-shirts kids wore with the word "swag" and by week's end it became the meme for the whole camp of teens. Caitrin is also on this bus (in the first window). Liam got them chanting, "Liam's mom is pretty." I was putty in their hands after that.

227: SOS Besties

I didn't take this photo but it represents what was going on in our family this week. Caitrin (left) and her best friend, Sarah (right), were at the Vineyard's Summer of Service where over 1000 teens come together to do random acts of kindness in Cincinnati. I think they are also into random acts of silly, too.

200: Tornado Warning 2

The night of Caitrin's choir concert, a storm chased me all the way to the school. The tornado sirens went off as we entered the building. This photo is of the sky right as I walked from my car to the front door. I think it's spectacular!

188: Jeni's!

Spent Friday night in Columbus with the four kiddos (smaller photo) and took them to my favorite ice cream shop: Jeni's! This photo is the first artistic one I've shot in what feels like months! But I loved it! So happy with how the reflections turned out.

170: Pairs of pipes, red heads, glasses, brunettes...

My kids all smoke pipes... at least as of Easter. Caitrin has had her pipe the longest (so she could recite JRR Tolkien with an accent impersonating an old man—her life's ambition). Jacob bought two pipes so we could all smoke with her which led to a trip to the pipe tobacco store to buy more. By the end, we each had our own to puff. This is the last photo of the day I took. I have a whole album of smoking/Easter photos on FB if you want to see more. Way too much fun. Highly recommended.

This is Caitrin's best friend from her whole life. Sarah starred as "Annie" in her high school's production of the musical. Both Sarah and Caitrin were homeschooled until high school so it's fun to see Sarah have such success in her school career. Yes, I teared up. (Also happy I caught the cute Annie and Daddy Warbucks photo op in the background.)
