223: Janine!

Blogger friend WritingasJo(e) visited me! We had a lovely vegan dinner on our deck just for her. She's every bit as wonderful in person as online, only oodles more animated! We had the best time. She's my sister from another mister for sure.

182: Lucent Dreams Exhibition

I had the most wonderful time with Kim and Sandie at the exhibit of their photography and artwork. These two girls are the adorable daughters of dear friends of Kim's and Sandie's. I loved the way the light came into the window over their heads and near the huge prints! I am posting an album of Kim's artwork and the whole show on Facebook. The second image is of the photos I had the joy of purchasing!

This photo is from our last group run which occurred on Saturday too. But I didn't have any more Saturday space so.... here it is on Thursday, a day I forgot to take a photo. That's Elizabeth and Patrice.

172: Julie and Rhinos

This photo is from Saturday, but I forgot to include it. I have nothing good for Tuesday, so I'm hi-jacking it into the 365 by stealth. Shhh. Don't tell.

These rhinos are made by Beaded Hope, a South African organization. Julie gave one to me and one to Debbie because Rhinos never go backward. They can't. How fitting, the week of the Flying Pig!

70: Girls win, of course

Patrice and Jeff invited John and me to dinner, NFL play-offs and the requisite girls-against-boys Pictionary at halftime. Patrice leads the way on the trail (my marathon inspiration!) and around the game board. Girls rule!

I liked the chance to put this in B&W with so many great contrasts available.
