Finally an appearance of "the man" and "his drink" (cappucino with all the special Starbucks powders: vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate). He takes great pleasure in the production therein.
That's a great picture of the two of you! And his homemade coffee sounds phenomenal; I might have to put in a request for one if we're ever out Ohio way!
I can't get over the clarity of your close-up shots, Julie! Today I tried taking some indoor pics using the museum scene with the ISO set at 400 (like you described the other day, about Caitrin's photo), but even with plenty of light they were all grainy. Grrr...Your Nikon Coolpix is sounding better and better!
Colleen, how many megapixels is your camera? Mine is 8.0 megapixels. Also, I take really huge photos (you can click on the individual photo and read the info at Flickr). Then I resize them for flickr.
Great shot! And although I can't imagine what I thought Jon looked like, I realized when I saw the photo I was wrong. (Also didn't realize I'd never seen a photo of him...seems like I should know him!).

Your hubby looks like Dave Ramsey to me, who know is a hunka :-)
Love it! Nothing like a man who is his own barista.
Nice to see your man make an appearance on the blog. His java concoction sounds excellent.

So, perhaps that helps. I don't know.
It just seems like a great camera to me. :)
Mine's 7.1 mp, Julie, which is why the graininess surprises me. It's probably my own foibles more than anything, though.
You are so great at people shots, Julie!
Nice to see Jon here! ;-)
I love the angle of the photo of Jon drinking. My, you are creative!

Laura, you silly. My avatar at the new forum has a photo of me AND Jon together. :)
