Today marks the end of busses for high school students of Lakota School District. (sob!) I happened to be at the main intersection when our neighborhood bus passed me, having dropped off the last load of kids. I was elated that the light stayed red as I caught two busses in my rear view mirror (the one descending the hill and a tiny one at the top of the other hill, coming up behind me). Good thing my camera was already out of my purse!

So sorry that your school district can no longer afford bussing. Getting up and out early every morning is NO FUN.
Amazing shot, especially considering the story. The district would probably love to have that picture
This is so cool, Julie! What an appropriate picture for the day. You couldn't have planned a better shot.
It's good you had your camera out because you had to be quick to catch all you did in this scene. There are so many interesting elements composition-wise let alone the importance it has to document the day.
