Julie... we are from the same pod. You know, I painted the door to the backyard that is in my kitchen a shade of blue close enough to yours that we could probably adjoin our kitchens and they'd work fine decor-wise. And, I even have a small wooden Ikea table in my kitchen that is in dire need of exactly what you are doing. It has stains from probably 10 years ago. I usually have a plastic tablecloth on it but I may sand and paint it after I see your results.
Lol! I went to the Flickr photos you had on there, and I said, "Oh, I hope that she chose that for her 365, it is so cool!" So, I ran over here, and there is is!

Great color and shot -- love the glob of paint at the end of the roller :-).

Nice layout! It's just very well arranged.

Very nice shot! I love the composition (and the color!).
Carol, I should tell you that that is Oprah in the background. :)
You use such strong happy colors. I hope you'll post a picture of the finished project!
What a fantastic shot. I liked many of your b&w shots, but February really just didn't show off your best--you've got such a great eye for color.
