Colleen, Beth once said that it's unhealthy for children to grow up without a dog. I had never thought about it that way (only the mess and the fact that I already had five childre, tyvm). But Liam had wanted a dog forever and loves animals of all kinds. It hit me that we needed a dog to help him have a happy childhood. Aside from the peeing in the house when it rains (Grrrrr), I love him! And so do all the kids.
Oh, this is soooooo cute! I have so many memories of dogs(and cats)and little turles and little chickens growing up....all while living in town. My kids have always had dogs(and cats) and fish and hamsters. Yes, a mess and a little trouble but oh the memories! Obviously, I agree with Beth. hehe

Yes, pure love, for sure. And I love that his name is Rocky...makes me smile :-).
This is adorable. Really captures their connection...and makes me feel guilty for saying "No" to a dog here on the farm!
This is a great example of capturing a moment. Liam's expression is precious, but Rocky's expression makes me smile!
