Johannah and her friend's dates are leading them on a wild goose chase, treasure hunt all week. Each time they solve a riddle or go to a class, someone hands them a piece of absurd clothing. Tomorrow morning (early) unbeknownst to them, they are being led to IHOP for breakfast and must show up in all their silly attire. Their dates will be waiting with cameras.
Today's irrational step in the treasure hunt happened during Johannah's AP Psych class. She was called to the principal's office with a reprimand note. When she arrived with her friend there at the same time, they had a hunch it was a ruse. But the principal played along.... and then handed them the tiaras and boas. Cracks me up the lengths these boys have gone to. Such fun!
After IHOP, they will shower, style hair, do make-up and dazzle their dates with their beauty. I thought this was the cleverst idea I had ever heard. They're all having good clean fun with it.

Ohio bridges and trains
This is from Tuesday but I didn't get any photos today and I love this tunnel/train tressel. It's impossible to get through without slowing to 5 mph because the curve is so sharp. I never come to it where I can stop in the road and take a picture, let alone catch it with a train rushing across at the same time! I barely got this snapped when a car closed the gap behind me and one came right at me through the tunnel.

A soccer-sized thirst
There are more artistic photos to choose from, but this one captures the day... spent driving to a distant game, getting lost, playing in the suddenly summer heat and culminating in a win and long drink of water.

Super heroes; Super high
The kite ended its trip to the sky tangled in a tall tree in our yard and the kids begged me not to show you. :) So this photo shows off its glorious flight.
Here's what the take-off looked like:
