Summer Tree

Summer Tree, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Not really a remarkable photo except that I took this one in the winter (here it is in the photo blog) and as I was leaving the bank, waiting at the light (while Jacob drove), I was suddenly struck by how different it looked in summer (how leafy and green... and in a way, unremarkable).

P.S. I'm startled by how poor my photos have become in the last month! I've got to change that.

Big red, little red

Love the juxtaposition of these two well-loved vehicles.

Post-op (post teeth cleaning). Red bandage is for where the catheter for anesthesia was administered.

All during a tutoring session for Liam, I couldn't stop staring at the gorgeous green leaves reflected in the shiny black piano. The whole room inspired peace.

Move-in blur

Move-in blur, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

One down, one to go. Yesterday, Noah and I restocked his apartment with all the things he needs. I kept clicking pictures (I think it might have become a tad annoying :D) and this blurry one captured the feel of the whole afternoon.

I'm glad he lives close. I've missed him.

Look who's home!

Noah and Harry, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Noah's turn to read Harry Potter. (Just back from California, two months of construction work). Our reunited family of seven played "Spoons," "I doubt it" and another card game with the unfortunate title of "Retard" which we, the PC family, quickly renamed "Who is the dumbest Bogart?"

It is so good to have Noah home!
