Yesterday we went to the Monet exhibit in Columbus and I saw this interesting grouping of signs. :)

Marching Band State Finals

Saturday night, we all attended Jacob's final competition show performance in Columbus Ohio. The State Finals resulted in the highest rating the band could achieve. Freezing cold weather and one kid who literally passed out with an asthma attack (a different band right before our school) and his fellow bandmates marched backward right over his body and six of them tumbled on top of him. It was horrible.

Lakota went right after that scary drama and yet still performed beautifully even after standing in the cold an additional twenty minutes. The asthmatic boy will be fine, they told us. It was scary.

Sky Divers

The cross-town rivalry game between our Lakota East and Lakota West happened Friday night. They had three sky-divers fly into the stadium! West (our school) won 28-14.
