This little gem of a vineyard is located less than 25 minutes from my home. The vinter is a local Cincinnati hospital administrator who took up wine-making as a hobby 13 years ago. In the summers, they host musical groups and invite locals (like my friends and me!) to come sip wine and listen. Wine tasting (six varieties) only $5.00 and you get to keep the wine glass! We brought our own food (below). The women at this table are my two friends.

202: Noah
Noah came out to visit and we had such a great time talking about postmodernism, linguistics and religion.

201: May downpours
We had 24 of 27 days of rain in April/May. View from inside my dry-ish garage. (I love the way the red contrasts with the green.)

200: Tornado Warning 2
The night of Caitrin's choir concert, a storm chased me all the way to the school. The tornado sirens went off as we entered the building. This photo is of the sky right as I walked from my car to the front door. I think it's spectacular!

199: Caught in a web of light
I'm struck by the contrast in a 24 hour period (yesterday's photo was taken exactly 24 hours before this one).

198: Tornado Warning
I probably shouldn't have been driving home, but my kids were there in the basement and I was 45 minutes away and just couldn't bear to wait it out. Intense, right? It was 7:30 p.m.

197: Sophia Service
At the end of the translation time, we got to have Laura celebrate the Eucharist with us in her lavendar chapel. What an experience!
