She watches over me

Angel of light, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

while I work. I take her for granted. This afternoon, with the light bouncing off her head, I knew I wanted to take her picture and share her with you.

Feng shui? Not likely...

Bedroom number two, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

So my kids can't stop choosing bright colors for their bedrooms. Jacob's room is this red, really. He painted the first coat today. (No photo yesterday since Johannah had the camera.)

Loved the light reflecting on this lid so I'm adding it to today's pix.

We like bright colors around here. Liam's choice for his bedroom: pumpkin.

House of cards

Yesterday's photo. Caitrin had four of these going on our kitchen table until the handyman working on our deck literally blew through, and whoosh - they all went flat. Glad I had already made my digital captures. :)

Number 12 Par 3- Big Jon

Number 12 Par 3- Big Jon, originally uploaded by BrianWestChest.

I have no photos for today, but this one was taken by fellow 365-blogger Brian. He and Jon make a mad pair of golfers and today they burned up the course (or did the course burn them up? I forget). Look at that swing by my main squeeze! S-e-xay.

The estate of being in West Chester

The end of an era, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Where we live, old farms are being demolished at an alarming rate. Silos and barns turn to rubble to make way for "estates." Oh the irony! Will a tract home, no matter what square footage, ever be an estate compared with the farmland before it?

Tori

Tori, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

I was supposed to be an attendant at this baby's homebirth, but wouldn't you know? Little Tori was ten days late and arrived while I was out of town. So today Caitrin and I brought her family a meal and I got to sit on the bed watching Victoria Grace. Is there anything as remarkable as a newborn sleeping?
