My fiftieth year in a picture-a-day.
and onto another.Life after grad school: working out, listening to music and reading more theology (I know - get a life...)
Oh my, well um, what can I say? You are passionate!
I don't know how you do it. I totally can't concentrate on academic writing when I'm working out.
I have a hard time even reading anything even vaguely interesting on a treadmill or stationary bike. The problem isn't that I can't concentrate on the book but the opposite: within a few moments I'm paying so much attention to the book that I just stop pedaling or running. But more power to you for reading while on the treadmill. It's certainly better than watching that Fox broadcast up above you.
Nothing like a nice jog and heavy dose of theology! I'm with ianqui, I think I wouldn't be able to do both things at the same time.
Can't read while running on the treadmill either. I've finally managed to be able to listen to a podcast (Ebert&Roeper) but only during cooldown when I'm walking. It has to be all music for me when running - loud and with a beat. :)
