62: Running waters

Snowfall over night, great view for our morning run at Sharon Woods. I love the way the ice melts and refreezes and melts again, causing the rush over the little waterfalls.

Used the dusk/dawn setting on the camera. Still deciding if I like this effect. What do you think?

I love it. It looks cold but inviting.

I like it a lot--it definitely captures that in-between lighting and the cold/wet feel.

I really like the strip of water with the reflected trees.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the trees reflecting in the water. I love the color (b/w feel) but am trusting you will go back and show us those falls again when it is lighter. I love water!

Kim, I thought of you with the reflection in the water. Took several shots until I liked the shape of the water and location of the tree branches. :)

The reflection in the water is the first thing that caught my eye too. Beautiful. The setting really captures the look and feel of first light.

I too loved the reflection, and is it a dam stopping the water at that point? Found this a very interesting photo.
