My daughter uses OKCupid, has done a good bit of dating as a result, and is currently "in a relationship" with a guy she met there (I'm not sure how good a recommendation all that is :-) ). I tried unsuccessfully to find out what made "dating" turn into "in a relationship," but the only concrete answer was that it was not when it became an exclusive relationship. Maybe I don't want to know.
Ha ha ha. Yes, the vagaries of "relationship" in midlife can be pretty daunting. So far, I've enjoyed being able to see a larger world than the one I typically inhabit. And I am in no rush to be in a committed exclusive relationship right now anyway.
This photo credit goes to my ex-husband. Funny, right?
