January 6, 2007 Sharon Woods

January 6, 2007 Sharon Woods, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

My camera had a dead battery so this is a cell phone photo. I had no idea how colorful winter would be if I paid attention. Liam and I went birding early this rainy morning in Sharon Woods and I was blown away by the yellows, blues, tans, browns, greens, and even oranges! The mushrooms were endlessly fascinating.

Something about this I really, really like. For one thing I like the colors. Maybe it's the texture. Like you, I'm learning to see a whole new way. I have a long way to go in quality, though!

Like the one of Liam, too, out of time to comment there.

Katrina, I meant to say that we went to OUR Sharon Woods. There seem to be a plethroa of them in Ohio. I have seen the SW of Columbus from the car and then saw another one in another city... so Sharon must have been some famous dude. :)

What a day. I'm still inspired from it.
