Quad in winter at Xavier

Xavier quad in winter

Quad in winter, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Had my meeting with Dr. Gollar today to discuss my thesis. Due April 1. Tonight we're having a whole slew of X kids over for lasagna and "Catch Phrase" so I've got to go cook!

Here's today's self portrait, too. It was effin' cold!

I posted the icicles photo above after rethinking it. :) Thanks for the encouragement ladies.

This one is very pretty - love the blue sky and white snow contrast, the center lamp post that connects them and the overall simplicity. But (you knew that was coming didn't you?), I have to say I'm with Jacob, the other pic is absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking!

Thanks Sandie. I loved them both, but am trying to figure out which ones to use for my memories. I'll probably keep them together in some way.

Um, you can post more than one! I like them both and I see why the choice was hard. The one on the blog probably reflects Xavier more. But the ice on the trees is like glittring lace. Beautiful!

Sandy, I mistakenly spelled your name the other way. Sorry about that.

Becky, that's true. :) I suppose I can. I just didn't want to post such big photos at once.

I like the one you posted above, but I prefer this one. I don't know Xavier's quad, it's true, but I know campus quads quite well, and this picture just captures the feel of those spaces so nicely.

Thanks scrivener. That's why I loved it too - the quad oozes collegiate atmosphere which is my favorite atmosphere in the world. :)
