Come into the light

Come into the light, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Surprising photo I took at the zoo today. I know flower pictures can get old, but I just love this one.

What a beautiful shot! I love the yellow in the center and how it blends out into the white petals.

Just when I think I'm getting a few passably good shots, then you come along with one like this, and I stumble, sucking my thumb, back to photographic nursery school! :-) This is fan.tas.tic!

Is this a frangipani/plumeria? It's very beautiful. I don't get tired of flower-shots (as you can see from mine) or sunsets or oceans because to me each photo is an opportunity to stop and appreciate the unique beauty of that single one. I'd probably be doing snowflake macros if I lived in the right climate! (Wait till I start the grains of sand, that will get old really fast!)

This shot is truly amazing! I try not to take too many flower shots, but it is often hard to control myself.

The thing that makes this different from an ordinary flower shot is that you captured more than it's beauty...you got great lines and lighting and composition. And it all of that I think you captured something of its essence!
