My inner Brit

My inner Brit, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

soothes my inner bitch. :)

This teaset comes to me via garage sale. Four ceramic mugs and a teapot for only $3.00! Keeps the tea hotter than any pot I've owned. Tea tastes better in these than other pots and mugs too. I heart my morning tea.

Tried to do a close up that was as interesting as Nikki's are. She inspired me. I took about twenty five shots and didn't expect this to be the one I picked. Funny how that works.

Great deal, and the picture is friendly and inviting :) We love our heavy ceramic pots and mugs too.

Lovely, and so happy for your inner bitch :-).

Yeah, I'm finding the jury's out on which pictures I post until I've cropped and edited a handful, then I can tell. Very nice, I love little cozies like this :)

I love the little spot of color above the spout, and the tantalizing bit of tea. Clean and simple; I like it a lot!

(And Frugal Laura really likes the garage sale information!!)

I love everything about this. The inner bitch comment is perfect. I love the tea set - just lovely. The close-up is great. And I have to thank you for the compliment since I'm not usually a source of inspiration for people. :-)

I think this is a great close up shot and I love the warm glow you caught reflected on the surface.
I, of course, have a special affinity for anything ceramic, too.

I think it is a great close up! You know, I still can't figure the "close up" on this new camera of mine. I have to read the manual or beg Sandy for a tutorial!

Funny because I thought your subject line said, "My inner bitch." Then I notices I read it wrong. Then, I laughed out loud when I saw that it feeds you "inner b." :)

You know you can't have a photo of a teapot and not get a comment from me!

Very nice close-up - love the blue and white and the bit of tea just showing in the tea cup.

Congrats on your garage sale find. You like this better than the Brown Betty? sniff, sniff.

PS to Carol: I'd be glad to help you with the close up. I'm so happy you have a D80. :)

I love my Brown Bettys but I currently don't have one. :( Mine broke a couple of years ago and when Jon went to replace it, he bought an imitation! Horror of horrors.

I found this teapot not long after that and have been so happy with it, I haven't bothered to replace betty. Still, I love brown bettys too. They add a certain quality to the flavor of the tea as well.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I love doing this!
